Condor Bass - Aromatic Cedar - D
The High Spirits Condor Bass in the key of "D" minor has a smooth, full voice, making it our most popular wooden bass flute. Even though it has a wonderfully deep voice, the higher register notes still allow it to be a good lead instrument.
It is crafted from domestic aromatic cedar, a softwood, and sealed with non-toxic oils which give it a warm, resonant and full voice.
It is a 6-hole flute, we cover the 3rd hole from the top of the flute (known as the 6th hole) with a leather tie, giving the option to use it as a 6-hole or a 5-hole flute. This flute is 25.5 inches (64 cm) long.
Each flute includes a FREE printed instructional booklet with fingering charts as well as an overview of the FREE High Spirits digital library and YouTube channel, filled with an extensive collection of 'how to play' videos, including new player flute lessons, instruction for intermediate & advanced players, as well as a wide range of videos focused on tips and techniques for understanding and mastering the High Spirit flutes.
