The Kalimba Magneta has a built-in magnet for attachment to magnetic surfaces, such as steel handpans etc ... . But when using the included metal disc, you can stick the Kalimba Magneta onto any surface, on the condition that it is maximum 3mm thick, like a shaman drum or a cardboard box. By doing so, an extra resonance box is created and the sound of the kalimba gets a natural amplification.
This instrument features 9 high-quality galvanized tongues and a FSC-certified pear wood body. It also includes scratch and clank protection on the bottom and has a shellac finish.
