The Spacedrum® Ember D Kurd, a versatile and powerful handpan, is passionately crafted in our workshops in France from premium stainless steel. This ember-coloured handpan offers superior resonance to our Nitro collection, as well as a very accessible and fluid playing experience.

Thanks to its new acoustic and aesthetic criteria, handpan players rediscover the advantages of a stainless steel handpan, with a sound and feel different from the more "ceramic" sounding nitrided steel handpans. Ember steel is a specific stainless steel which gives a special sustain and vibration property to the handpan. It's a bit like the missing link between the Spacedrum Nitro and the Spacedrum Evolution. The Spacedrum Ember combines the properties of stainless steel, such as excellent corrosion resistance and long sustain, as on the Spacedrum Evolution, with the construction and assembly methods of the Spacedrum Nitro. Thus, it offers a perfect compromise for a unique and very satisfying playing experience.
