In addition to the super-soft natural caoutchouc rubbing head, the Smooth Lava Edition gong mallet has a black 6 mm thick handle, which enables perfect balance when playing the sound. The material used is flexible and unbreakable at the same time. It is also easy to hold thanks to its firm grip - without tired arms or back pain.

This gong rubber is the perfect addition to the Lava Edition gong rubbers that you can already find in our range. Thanks to the new finish and the finer surface, you can discover even more facets on your instrument with this mallet. It is available in the following sizes:

Depending on the size, the mallet is suitable for singing bowl and/or gongs. Of course, the size of the friction mallet influences the facets of the gong - sometimes finer, sometimes stronger tones are possible. With the Ollihess Lava Edition and Smooth Lava Edition gong rubber, you can decide for yourself which direction your gong should take.

The sustainable use of natural resources is a priority for us. We use almost exclusively environmentally friendly and renewable raw materials in the development and production of our gong rubbers and gong mallets. This is also the case with the Smooth Lava Edition gong mallet: the head of the friction mallet is made from 100% renewable natural caoutchouc. In order to produce even less waste, we do not use deep abrasion.

We also use regional raw materials whenever possible. Olli personally ensures these high standards: he monitors the production process every step of the way and incorporates your suggestions for improvement into further development. Because for him, his standards must never be lower than those of his customers.

PLEASE NOTE: Small irregularities are completely normal!

The balls of our friction mallets are moulded by hand and then finished with various tools until the desired surface is achieved. This can result in small irregularities on the ball, which are due to this manual process. This is therefore completely normal and has no influence whatsoever on the sound you can produce with this rubber.
